L is for Leopard

Abstract typography development

The goal of this piece was to interpret the ‘feeling’ of a leopard as an abstract metaphor to create a roman letter “L.”

Taking inspiration from a dancer costumed like a leopard, energetic music, claw marks, and the vitality and motion of the animal, and, after a long process of sketching and exploring, my result is dancing and fierce; bold and lithe; a little bit soft and a little bit sharp.
