Suspension of Disbelief

Captured by the fragile beauty of this scene, I determined to capture it in turn with my lens.
Because I did not want to disrupt the scene with a flash, the photo required precise control over shutter speed, depth of field, and focus. I enjoy the lamp’s geometry, contrasting the moth’s organic form, with cobwebs, both geometric and organic, bridging the two worlds.
